?The Estate and Gene & Georgetti team attended the 4th annual Michigan Ave Magazine, Super Chef?s Culinary Competition. Not only is Super Chefs always a delicious event to attend, but great fun to be a part of. At Super Chefs, our Executive Chefs for Gene & Georgetti of Chicago and The Estate by Gene & Georgetti, Luis Quiroz and Arturito Aucaquizhpi, prepared Chicken Alla Joe, a dish famously created by a Gene & Georgetti beloved waiter, Joe Pacini.

In attendance of Super Chefs was Gina Bartel of Marketing and Sales for The Estate, Steve Ewing, Director of Operations of The Estate, and The Estate Assistant Venue Manager, Hannah Gorman. Alongside them was Michelle Durpetti, Owner and Manager of Michelle Durpetti Events and her father, Tony Durpetti, Proprietor of Gene & Georgetti Restaurant.

The Super Chefs Culinary Competition was held in the breathtaking and airy venue, 19 East. Michigan Avenue Magazine partnered with Celebrity Cruises, Mitchell Gold + Bold Williams, and Napleton Porsche & Aston Martin for the event and nearly 300 guests were in attendance. Delectable light bites from Chicago?s hotspot restaurants were presented and every taste bud was more than pleased. Along with the delectable food items, speciality drinks from Casa Noble were offered to the each guest. Throughout the night, guests voted for their favorite dish by placing their pin in the chosen restaurant?s bowl. Coming close in the end, the final vote went to Eddie V?s Prime Seafood and their delicious mini lobster tacos.
